On Tuesday evening, the Rue Kreuzerbruch in Habscht had to be shut to traffic in both directions due to a fire in a single-family home. According to RTL sources, about 30 firefighters were deployed to get the flames under control. The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) confirmed that teams from Steinfort, Habscht, Mamer, Kehlen, and Luxembourg City were sent to the scene.
The initial alert for the incident came at 7.40pm and the fire was extinguished by 9.30pm.
