Dan Kersch, the Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, confirmed the news upon enquiry. He underlined that the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) will however continue to operate in case of emergencies.
This means that in case a work accident occurs, ITM employees will still be called to the scene to provide assistance.
