The CGDIS announces that the production unit number 1 in the nuclear power plant at Cattenom has been shut down, as planned. The reason behind this are maintenance works.
A third of the fuel would have been replaced, and checks were also made. The third unit is also not in operation at the moment because of the inspection that was done every 10 years.
