According to the announcement, the prisoner was found dead in his prison cell. Members of the family and first contact people will be informed of the incident.
The Ombudsman, the director of the prison administration, as well as the directorate of CPL (Penitentiary Center of Luxembourg), the CGDIS (Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps) and the police were all present at the scene.
