A police patrol was dispatched to locate the car, succeeding in pulling the vehicle over between the Windhof junction and the Belgian border.
The driver was made to perform a breathalyser test and subsequently had his licence confiscated upon the positive result.
At around 1.57am, police in Stadtbredimus noticed a vehicle travelling with a flat tyre and zigzagging across the road. Again, the driver was found to be intoxicated and had their licence taken away as a consquence.
Shortly before 5am, two cars collided in Schlammestee, Weiler-la-Tour, as one vehicle hit the other from behind. The driver who caused the accident left the scene in a hurry, but was later found by police. Once again, the driver failed to pass a breathalyser test and lost their licence, as well as receiving a fine for failing to stop at an accident.
