Around 8.30 p.m. on Saturday, the police was alerted to a group of people near the museum. When officers got to the location, they discovered that a large crowd had assembled, although people fled as soon as they saw the police arrive. Two bottles were thrown in the direction of the officers' car.
The report notes that a large amount of empty alcohol bottles were found at the scene later on. The police also confirmed upon enquiry that a similar incident already took place on Friday evening.
In May and June last year, the museum park became a hotspot for people to hang out and enjoy the good weather. However, after the amount of trash left behind started amounting to 700 kilos per day, authorities decided to close the park for the public in mid Juli.
