Police are investigating two violent incidents in Luxembourg, including a public altercation in Esch-sur-Alzette and a phone theft that left a man wounded in the capital, urging witnesses to come forward.

Police report that a verbal altercation between a man and a woman at Place de la Résistance in Esch-sur-Alzette turned violent on Tuesday evening. Witnesses of the fight should contact the local police station via phone (+352 244 50 1000) or email (police.esch@police.etat.lu).

At around 10.30pm, police were further alerted to an injured person on Avenue de la Gare in the capital. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found that the man had been wounded while having his phone stolen. The victim was subsequently brought to a hospital and an investigation was launched.
