The first driver was spotted weaving along the A13 motorway towards Esch-sur-Alzette on Thursday evening. However, the man failed to stop when signalled by police, leading officers on a chase to the Niederkorn exit where they were finally able to pull the car over. A breathalyser test was performed, resulting in the driver’s licence being confiscated, along with pepper spray found within the vehicle.
In Wickrange, a second motorist was pulled over by police after narrowly avoiding a crash. The driver was zigzagging along the road, nearly colliding with the barrier at one point, when officers intervened. The individual was found to be well over the legal alcohol limit and received a provisional driving ban as a result.
