On Thursday evening, police were called out to handle a fight between three people in Wiltz at 6.40pm. One of the men was hitting the other two with a cable.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a group of men, but were able to identify the perpetrator thanks to a physical description. He refused to cooperate with the police.
At around 12.45am on Friday morning, the police were called out yet again to a fight between the same people. Two were evidently intoxicated and were taken into custody overnight as they were deemed to be a risk to themselves and others.
