On Tuesday around midday, a police patrol in the Gare neighbourhood in Luxembourg City conducted a search on an individual suspected of drug dealing.
During the operation, officers seized narcotics, cash, and pepper spray. The public prosecutor’s office was notified and ordered the suspect’s detention. The individual was brought before an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning.
In a separate incident on Tuesday evening, also in the Gare neighbourhood, police observed another individual making suspicious swallowing movements during a routine check. Suspecting the person had ingested drugs, officers arranged for a CT scan, which confirmed their suspicions. The public prosecutor’s office subsequently ordered the suspect’s arrest, and they too were presented to an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning.
