The project and award are a joint effort between the Chamber of Employment and BGL BNP Paribas, which aims to reward and motivate those who, in the last two to five years, have launched or taken over a business.
Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Lex Delles was present at the ceremony to award the prize to the Weisgerber brothers. Included in the award is also a prize money of €6,000.
Aside from Pol and Ben Weisgerber, nominees included Patrick Bicheler (Menuiserie Bichler S.à r.l.), Jeff Burg (Beim Burg GmbH), Vincenza Fuzio (Ottika Enza S.à r.l.), as well as Alexandra Kahn (La Luxembourgeoise du Chocolat S.à r.l.).
