The photos taken by our photographer this morning can be seen above - but Luxembourg City was far from the only part of the country to be covered in a proper dusting of snow.
Our readers - and those of our sister sites - whipped out their cameras (or rather their camera apps, in most cases) and took pictures of their own surrounds as these too saw a thick blanketing of soft white snow.. and some of you certainly saw more of the stuff than we did down here around the City!

Children in Walferdange and in Parc Laval did not let the cold deter them from playing in the long-awaited snow, with many taking to their sledges to make the most of the weather.
