The accident occurred on Wednesday around 5.30pm on Contern’s Rue de Moutfort. According to initial reports, a driver lost control of their vehicle and collided with a lamppost.
Emergency services from Remich, Moutfort, Hesperange, and Luxembourg City were dispatched to the scene. The driver sustained injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital.
The accident required the vehicle to be towed and repair work on the damaged lamppost. Traffic disruptions were also reported.
