Police opened an investigation following the altercation and have since identified a suspect and the weapon presumably used in the attack.
The man was subsequently arrested by order of the prosecutor’s office and presented to an examining magistrate on Wednesday afternoon.
The victim was treated at the scene of the attack and later brought to a hospital.
