The Foundation, which was started in 1999 and is closing in on its 25th anniversary, released a statement to thank Meyers for his “unwavering commitment” and accompanying the charitable organisation “through its key stages”.
Meyers will be succeeded by Guy Thill, the former administrative and financial director of the ‘ZithaKlinik’ hospital, who has been an administrator at the Foundation since 2014.
With more than 2,000 employees, some 21 local branches, ten day centres, and three national services, the ‘Help at Home’ Foundation is the largest home help and care network in the Grand Duchy.
