Police in Ettelbruck were notified of an intoxicated individual threatening employees and customers at a business on Place Marie-Adelaide on Saturday afternoon. Officers at the scene attempted to calm the man down, but he insisted on continuing his behaviour and was subsequently taken into custody. Once at the police station, he was found to be in possession of a small quantity of cannabis.
Overnight, a fight broke out, again in Ettelbruck, as one person attacked four others. When apprehended by police, he physically assaulted several officers, and was taken into custody as a result.
In Luxembourg City, a fight took place on Rue de la Boucherie, injuring one person. The victim was hospitalised as a result. One suspect was arrested following the incident.
Police also reported 50 noise disturbance reports overnight, in most cases due to loud music.
