Motorists in Luxembourg now have additional options for vehicle inspections, as the National Technical Inspection Centre (SNCT) and Luks have each opened new branches.
On 5 February, Luks launched a new roadworthiness testing station in Wickrange, located in the recently developed GridX complex near the Esch motorway. This station is operated by the same company managing the Lorentzweiler facility. Notably, the Luks station previously located at Cloche d’Or has since closed.
As the GridX building and its surroundings are still under construction, Luks has provided a video on its website to help motorists locate the new Wickrange station.
Meanwhile, the SNCT opened another new testing station in Roost, near Mersch, on 3 February. This facility can inspect all vehicles except motorcycles. With the addition of the Roost branch, the SNCT now operates seven stations across Luxembourg, located in Sandweiler, Esch-sur-Alzette, Livange, Bissen, Marnach, Bertrange, and Roost.
