On 3 November at 7:18pm, the joint efforts of CGDIS and Luxembourg Red Cross dog teams were mobilised to search for an elderly woman suffering from dementia, missing in Useldange. Pascal Teodori, a Red Cross specialist in mantrailing (the use of dogs to locate missing persons), initiated the search with his dog, Calimero, at 8:04pm from the point of disappearance. Impressively, the duo located the woman just 15 minutes later.

The elderly woman was found to be in good condition, considering the circumstances, and was safely reunited with her husband. The search involved three Red Cross dog handlers, three CGDIS dog handlers, an assistant, and the police.
