In a post on social media, the Albanian police announced that they recently arrested a Luxembourg resident who was travelling with a suitcase filled with cannabis.
According to the police, the 21-year-old man was travelling from Dubai to Tirana with a suitcase that contained 26.7 kg of cannabis. The man was arrested after the plane had landed in the Albanian capital.
The Albanian police have launched an investigation to identify other individuals implicated in this case.
