Artificial intelligence is evolving at great speed, bringing not only new opportunities but also new risks. In this context, the Financial Sector Supervisory Commission of Luxembourg (CSSF) has warned of significant challenges facing the sector.

In a press release, the CSSF said that many financial institutions in Luxembourg are not sufficiently prepared to fend off potential attacks. According to the regulator, not enough scans are being carried out, while protective measures are either implemented too late or not updated regularly enough.

Entities are advised to familiarise themselves with the relevant security recommendations.
