A Luxair flight scheduled to land in Luxembourg on Thursday, 20 February 2025, was forced to turn back to Dubai due to a technical issue. Flight LG9010, which was set to arrive at Findel Airport at 3pm, returned to Dubai “without any issues”, according to a statement from the Luxembourgish airline.
Luxair cited a “technical incident limiting passenger comfort” as the reason for the turnaround but did not provide further details on the nature of the issue. The airline assured that passenger safety was never at risk. “The captain and crew informed the passengers, and at no point was their safety compromised”, the statement read.
Passengers were accommodated and offered alternative travel arrangements. A replacement flight was scheduled for Friday morning to transport them to Luxembourg.
Luxair reiterated its commitment to minimising disruptions but acknowledged that “unforeseen events can affect operations.”
