Second year of warLUkraine to host solidarity march on 24 February

On the second anniversary of Russia's war in Ukraine, the Luxembourgish association supporting Ukrainians locally and abroad is hosting a solidarity march.

The march takes place in collaboration with ASTI on 24 February and starts in front of the Gare at 1.45pm. The route then takes the group to Place Clairefontaine by 3pm, with a commemoration closing off the event.

Various speakers will be part of the commemoration, including Nicolas Zharov, President of LUkraine, Claude Wiseler, President of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, Anna Calteux, Head of European Commission Representation in Luxembourg, Czech Republic Ambassador in Luxembourg Vladimír BÄRTL and Sam Elsey, President of the Luxembourg Youth Parliament.

On the evening prior to the march, at Ciné Utopia on 7pm on 23 February, the association is hosting a special screening and talk of Sean Penn’s film Superpower, which follows the start of the war in Ukraine.
