A lorry accident occurred on the CR123 road at around 11am on Wednesday, leading to the temporary closure of the road. No injuries have been reported, but the road will remain closed until further notice while recovery operations are underway.
According to initial reports, the driver of the lorry lost control of the vehicle for reasons still under investigation.
The lorry veered to the side of the road, where only one lane was open due to ongoing construction work. It then collided with crash barriers and safety markings, blocking the passage at the construction site.
A specialised company has been called in to tow the lorry, and the road will remain closed until the vehicle is removed and the site is cleared. A diversion has been set up and signposted to guide traffic around the affected area.
