The district committee of the Democratic Party (DP) has put forward its candidate list for the parliamentary elections in October, with Lex Delles and Carole Hartmann named lead candidates.
While the DP’s district lists will be presented again in full on 15 July, the party has already published an overview of its candidates for the eastern constituency. The average age of people on the list is 41 years.
- Lex Delles (38) from Mondorf-les-Bains: lead candidate, DP president, Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Minister for Tourism
- Carole Hartmann (36), Echternach Mayor: lead candidate, DP secretary general, MP
- Gilles Baum (50) from Junglinster, DP faction president, alderman
- Michel Gloden (51), Schengen Mayor
- Steve Reckel (46), Mondorf-les-Bains Mayor
- Ben Ries (39), Junglinster Mayor
- Claire Sertznig (29), Grevenmacher councillor
