According to a statement published on Monday, the trade unions LCGB and OGBL have signed a new agreement covering 650 employees of Swiss logistics firm Kuehne+Nagel.

On Monday, it was announced that Kuehne+Nagel management had signed a new collective agreement with the LCGB and OGBL trade unions. The new contract applies to around 650 staff members at the company and covers the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027.

The new agreement retains all aspects of the previous contract, as well as improvements for long-term staff in particular. Employees will be entitled to additional leave days depending on the duration of their employment and will also benefit from improved bonuses.

Furthermore, the management has committed to considering temporary staff for vacant positions on permanent and fixed-term contracts.

The LCGB and the OGBL said the agreement “recognises the staff’s commitment.” The negotiations were therefore conducted in a “sense of social dialogue ,” according to the joint statement.

Kuehne+Nagel operates logistics centres in Luxembourg with a focus on transporting, storing and processing online orders for international customers.
