
The Luxembourg police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a mobile phone was stolen on Rue de la Poste in Luxembourg City on 10 January.
The incident occurred at around 7.20pm when an intoxicated man approached the victim. After exchanging a few words, the man attempted to hug the victim. When the victim resisted, the assailant slapped them across the face, stole their mobile phone, and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white-skinned man with a light tan, aged between 30 and 40. At the time of the incident, he was wearing entirely grey clothing and had a grey beard.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to contact the Mersch police station.
