Work environment at POST LuxembourgInternal inquiry yields 'catastrophic' findings, reports trade union

RTL Today
Delving into concerns within POST Luxembourg, an internal investigation has generated alarming outcomes, according to the POST union.

Outlined in their latest newsletter, the POST union conveys the urgent need for corrective measures, describing the revealed results of the internal investigation as “catastrophic.”

According to the trade union, POST management would have to take “immediate action” to address the concerns of those who work at POST. The POST union also stressed the significance of fostering an “empathetic” environment wherein POST employees’ voices are attentively heard, in contrast to instances where undue pressure might have been exerted during one-on-one discussions with superiors.

Details regarding the identified issues and the findings of the internal inquiry, however, have not been disclosed by the trade union.

Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot offered a partial glimpse into the findings, citing that 63% of POST personnel expressed contentment with their current roles, and 69% said that they are proud to work for the company.

These percentages therefore showcase a lack of consensus concerning the overall assessment of the workplace climate at POST. This disparity prompted a discussion within the Board of Directors. Minister Fayot acknowledges that collaborative efforts, in partnership with staff representatives, will be channelled into formulating an action plan aimed at resolving these issues. However, the Minister also does not specify what exactly these issues are.

MP Gusty Graas from the Democratic Party (DP) had submitted a parliamentary question on the issue of the working climate at POST.
