The Minister for Family Affairs, Corinne Cahen, told radio 100.7 that there are currently 16 positive cases in the Rodange retirement home.
In the home in Bofferdange, there are 20 active cases. According to the manager of the home, one person has already died from the virus.
Minister Cahen also announced that several people had to postpone their second vaccination in light of these events.
