This year marks a first for Luxembourg's National Day: Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie will take centre stage at the official ceremony held at the Philharmonie. As in previous years, the event will bring together members of the Chamber of Deputies, diplomats, government officials, representatives from the Council of State and the judiciary, as well as local authorities, including the Luxembourg City council. This time, members of the general public are explicitly invited to join the festivities.

Those who have not received an official invitation but wish to attend can register online from 9am on Tuesday via the government website. According to a statement from the Ministry of State, places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis: "As places are limited, invitations will be distributed in order of registration."

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 23 June at 10am at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg City.
