The Grand Ducal Court has released new official portraits of the Grand Ducal family as part of its annual Christmas greetings to the nation.

Published via the Maison du Grand-Duc’s communication channels, the images feature Grand Duke Guillaume, Grand Duchess Stéphanie, and their two sons, Princes Charles and François. The portraits are particularly notable as they are the first festive family photographs released since the couple’s accession to the throne in October.

Accompanying the portraits is a bilingual message in Luxembourgish and French, wishing “happy holidays” to the public.

As is customary, these are not private family photographs but official portraits produced and disseminated by the Maison du Grand-Duc as part of the court’s institutional communication, continuing a by now well-established tradition in the run-up to the holiday season.
