The 52-year-old doctor works at a GP practice in eastern Luxembourg, according to the statement. The public prosecutor’s office was notified of the case on 9 July 2021 after two adult patients filed a complaint.
By order of February 29, 2024, the council chamber of the Diekirch district court held that the legal conditions for preventive detention had been met.
The investigation is ongoing and, as always, the presumption of innocence applies.
