Several public squares in Luxembourg City are currently being remodeled, including the Place de la Constitution near the Gëlle Fra and the square outside of the central train station in Gare. While former will soon lose its car park, latter will see the creation of an underground bicycle park, although it remains to be seen when the project can go into the development phase.

At least for the next two years, local residents and business people, the municipality of Luxembourg City, and members of the national railway company CFL will still have time to voice their opinion on the design of the new square.

Aside from the bicycle park, the square will also house the new CFL headquarters, explains Minister for Mobility and Public Works François Bausch in his response to a respective parliamentary inquiry from Greens MP François Benoit.

First information meetings on the development of the square will take place in the spring of 2023.
