The development society for Belval, AGORA, is undergoing a change in leadership as its Director General, François Dorland, prepares to depart.
According to a report by Tageblatt on Saturday, the decision was reached by mutual agreement between Dorland and the administrative board. However, the newspaper also noted that the atmosphere leading up to the decision had been tense.
Dorland, a 57-year-old French national, has led AGORA for the past four years. The organisation, which oversees the development of the Belval area, is jointly owned by ArcelorMittal and the Luxembourg state, each holding a 50% stake.
