On Tuesday, the Left Party ('Déi Lénk') unveiled its list of candidates for southern Luxembourg ahead of the legislative elections on 8 October.

The list is headed by four lead candidates: Former MP Marc Baum (Esch-sur-Alzette), Party Speaker Carole Thoma (Dudelange), Gary Diderich (Differdange), and former Municipal Councillor of Esch-sur-Alzette Line Wies.

Eleven men and twelve women will stand in the legislative elections for the Left Party in southern Luxembourg.

In 2018, the Left Party secured 5.72% of the vote and one seat in the Chamber of Deputies.
