The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) were kept busy on Saturday evening as three accidents left five people injured.

After two pedestrians were injured in a hit-and-run on Route de Bastogne in Pommerloch, emergency medical services from Ettelbruck and emergency services from Troisvierges and Clervaux were dispatched to the scene at around 6pm.

Later at around 7.40pm, a car overturned on the A13 in the direction of Pétange, leaving two more people injured. Ambulances from Luxembourg City and Dudelange, along with firefighters from Mondorf-les-Bains and Urspelt were on the scene.

An hour later, another CGDIS team was dispatched between Remich and the Ellange train station after a car hit a wild boar, leaving one person injured.
