Due to conflict of interestFischbach forms new aldermen council on Monday

RTL Today
A new alderman council was formed in Fischbach on Monday as Pitt Kirtz, who received the second-most votes, cannot take on the role of first alderman due to the position being incompatible with his job.

28-year-old Kirtz currently works for the non profit organisation ‘ORT Mullerthal la Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise’, of which the municipality of Fischbach is a member.

This means that he cannot take on the mandate of alderman for as long as he keeps being employed by the non-profit and for as long the town holds membership status, the Ministry for Home Affairs has announced in a statement.

Former councillor Kevin Olinger will thus replace Kirtz on Fischbach’s alderman council. According to a statement, Lucien Brosius will remain Mayor of the town while Daniel Moura will be first alderman and Laurent Schiltz second alderman.
