The police’s bomb disposal unit was at the scene to inspect the suspicious package. After a brief investigation, the Police concluded that the package posed no threat.
According to the shopping centre staff, the package was discovered shortly before the shopping centre’s closing. Stores in the centre were already shut, but the supermarket was still open at the time.
For security purposes, staff and visitors had to evacuate the building.
