The running order for both semi-finals has been confirmed, placing Luxembourg fourth in the second semi-final on Thursday 14 May, behind Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, and Romania. Eva Marija will carry the Grand Duchy’s hopes on the night, alongside acts from Switzerland, Ukraine, Norway, and others.

The first semi-final takes place on Tuesday 12 May and features Sweden, Portugal, Finland, Belgium, and Israel, among others. The grand finale follows on Saturday 16 May.

As members of the so-called Big Five, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, and Spain have all qualified automatically for the final, as has host nation Austria. This year’s contest is being held in the Austrian capital Vienna.

Spain, however, will not be taking part, joining Ireland, Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Iceland in withdrawing from the competition in protest at Israel’s participation.
