Twice a month, the programme “Senior TV” will be broadcast on Esch TV, with topics specifically aimed at older people. The goal is to inform and engage seniors and prevent them from falling into isolation.
The idea originated during the Covid-19 pandemic to stay in touch with the elderly. Each show will last between 10 and 15 minutes and will be subtitled in order to respond to the linguistic diversity of the population.
“Senior TV” will be broadcast twice a month on Tuesday evenings at 6pm and is accessible via Esch TV, Eltrona, and POP TV from POST.
Esch currently has over 37,000 inhabitants. Esch TV already produces its own reports, shows sports games, local events, and other community-related topics.
