A new hot spell is coming – although this time, it is expected to be a bit more “tame” than the previous one.

After a rather mild weekend, MétéoLux forecasts a rise in temperatures from Monday. Temperatures are expected to rise between 5 and 7°C in the afternoon to reach 28°C. They will then exceed and reach 30 and 32°C on Tuesday and Wednesday. Skies will remain clear throughout. During the nights, temperatures will fortunately fall back below 20°C.

The situation will be similar in the French region of Lorraine. While temperatures this week will not exceed 26°C, they will increase to up to 28°C next Tuesday and are set to exceed 32°C on Wednesday.

In Belgium, the Royal Meteorological Institute forecasts “dry and generally sunny weather” on Tuesday, followed by highs “around 30°C” on Wednesday.

For the time being, the level and duration of these temperature forecasts are not enough to trigger a heat wave.
