The Education Ministry has warned students about phishing emails that lead to a fake version of the official Centre for Educational IT Management (CGIE) platform, which runs digital services for Luxembourg’s education sector.

Several students reported receiving the messages, which contained a link to the imitation website, designed to look like the official site of the Centre for Educational IT Management (CGIE).
The emails were sent from a hacked student email account, which has since been deleted.
The ministry has filed a complaint with the police regarding the incident.
