Minister for Culture Eric Thill has presented a national “Access to Culture” action plan, which includes seven priorities, 33 objectives, and 99 measures.

One of the plan’s key priorities, unveiled by Minister Thill on Tuesday, is to “remove barriers and open the doors of culture to everyone”.

The plan was first announced one year ago. Access to culture, promotion of cultural offerings, communication, and participation in Luxembourg’s cultural life are the major pillars on which the plan seeks to work.

Concrete measures include the further development and structural improvement of the culture pass, as well as the expansion of the culture.lu website, which is intended to become a digital one-stop shop for all cultural matters in the future.

A budget of €13.5 million has been earmarked for the next five years to implement the national action plan.
