Following a cancer diagnosis, CSV lawmaker Nancy Kemp-Arendt announced she is stepping away from public life to prioritise her health.

MP Nancy Kemp-Arendt of the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV) announced via social media that she will step back from public life to seek treatment after a recent cancer diagnosis. “I’m not the only one”, the lawmaker wrote in a statement, asking the public to understand her decision.

The former Olympic swimmer and triathlete further explained that she will limit herself to her family and closest friends during this difficult time.
