The Ministry stated that both Covid and RSV are accelerating, while flu cases are down, according to the latest weekly report for 6-12 November.
The number of people testing positive for Covid increased to 294 cases last week, up from 195 the previous week - an increase of 51%. The positivity rate jumped up to 24% from 23%.
The Ministry wrote that the decrease observed the previous week was likely linked to the school holidays at the end of October.
As for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), the number of positive cases rose by a whopping 94% to 37, up from 19 the previous week, according to laboratory data.
The number of influenza cases increased to 14, up from 4 the week before.
