Upon being alerted, experts from the Water Management Authority promptly assessed the situation at the site.
In accordance with Article 22, the construction site was immediately shut down. The responsible party is now required to provide an explanation regarding the cause of this pollution and implement measures to prevent such incidents from occurring again before the site can resume operations.
The Authority has initiated investigations to further examine the matter.
