Since a court discarded the request for the preservation of the woodland, the construction of the bypass can go ahead as planned, which means that trees and bushes will be cut down as of Thursday.

The construction site is expected to last until March. The Bridges and Roads Authority has issued a statement to underline that only as many trees as strictly necessary will be removed to limit the impact on wildlife.
