An accident on the A7 motorway towards Luxembourg City caused significant disruptions on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred near the Mierscherbierg exit, leading to the closure of the motorway in the direction of Luxembourg City just before the Colmar-Berg exit. Motorists were diverted via the Colmar-Berg exit, while vehicles stuck between the accident site and the exit were allowed to pass through at around 11.40am.
The collision resulted in a traffic jam.
By midday, authorities had cleared the accident, though the hard shoulder and right lane remain closed until further notice.
