Weyer served as Vice President for several years and, until recently, held the position of Coordinator for the Centre district.
In the most recent elections, Weyer finished sixth on the Pirate Party’s list in the Centre constituency. While the reasons behind his decision to leave the party are said to have been communicated internally, Weyer has chosen not to publicly disclose them.
