The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) has announced a recall of cheese-filled biscuits from the brands Buiteman, Alnatura, and Boni due to the potential presence of metal shards.

The recall affects specific products: Buiteman’s “Gouda,” “au chèvre,” and “Gouda et aux oignons” varieties; Alnatura’s “Bio Käsegebäck"; and Boni’s “Cheese Snacks,” which were sold between 12 July and 26 August.

The presence of metal shards poses a risk of choking or other internal injuries, according to ALVA. The affected products may have been distributed across various locations in Luxembourg.
