The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has launched an internal investigation after a staff member was suspended in connection with allegations of severe bullying.

According to an internal communication seen by RTL, employees who wish to provide testimony regarding this or similar situations are encouraged to contact the respective equality delegates.

The CGDIS has confirmed in a public statement that an inquiry into bullying is currently underway.

Political figures have now also chimed in. On Tuesday, Josée Lorsché, a member of Déi Gréng (The Greens), submitted a parliamentary question to Home Affairs Minister Léon Gloden regarding the affair.
